Otherwise, it works great and I've had absolutely no problems. I've heard that the scroll ball wears out on this one after 3 years, so be expecting it. I never saw a specific cord length mentioned in the listing, but I could've missed it. That's my only issue with the particular mouse I ended up with. The cord attaching mouse to the computer is actually shorter, which is temporarily annoying, but my mouse is quite close to the screen anyway so it doesn't hamper me much. After 3 1/2 years, the scroll ball stopped working 100% of the time, so I bought this replacement. Plus, since I'm using that scroll ball to move the page, I don't need the cord to be really long. Just look out for that.
Being able to use the side handle buttons for other options along w/ the 360 degree scroll make this a good, solidly built mouse, but i wouldn't use while eating bacon I regularly clean my mouse anyway, this i just rolled upside down on clean paper or use a cotton swab w/ alcohol, and have had no problems. had this for a few months now & so far had no problems. I read about the scroll ball issues before i purchased, so I kept it in my mind. In fact I've had to clean a lot less than I originally thought after reading other reviews.
I guess the old saying "Buyer Beware" really applies to this seller. The tracking ball was broken. The cord had been shortened to half the size of an Apple Mighty Mouse cord. I should have paid a few bucks more and bought from a reputable source. Very dissatisfied with the Apple Mighty Mouse seller sold me. ITEM WAS NOTHING LIKE THE SELLERS DESCRIPTION. This item should have seen the GARBAGE and not been sold.
this item it put together well but the ball only lasts for about 3 to 6 months before it stops functioning properly.
This is a replacement for my factory original that the roller ball for scrolling quit working in the "up" direction.very annoying to only be able to scroll down a page. Anyway, so far so good with this one.will have to give it 10 months to know for sure though.
